I live in NL now and winter is also dark cold and wet. The upside in Norway is that it’s properly cold which I prefer to the wet cold. I lived in Oslo and there were weeks in the winter that I only saw the sun inside of my place on the weekends. Harder for me was the culture, it’s somewhat bipolar.
I love the nature there but I’m heading closer to the equator as I get older. Quality food and sun is becoming more important.
