The world population is greying. It's time to learn from the experience of vanguard countries like Japan about how to live when there are fewer young people to take care of the old.
We need to build local mutual aid groups for older people who can support each other like an old fashioned extended family. Such groups already exist, here and there, it's great for the seniors who participate and for their children who may live far away.
