Platform/ Protocol is similar to Bitcoin/Crypto. The idea scares people away from using it. Crypto is a mainstream narrative, similar to what social media platform is.
I've noticed the harder I try to convince a no coiner that Bitcoin isn't crypto the harder they push back because they can't/don't need to comprehend the diffrence. Even though I know they're not the same.
