I really don't want to host my Masto instance at home anymore, as a simple media post will now deluge my connection with traffic (hurry up CityFibre!).
The cost associated with putting it on a VM is too much. I'd love to be able to just migrate my account elsewhere and keep my posts, but I know its not an option.
