Each year, I make a dish specifically for #FoodDayCanada.

In the last few years, I've consciously showcased foods brought by people who've made Canada their home. Because their food, and how they've adapted it, is Canadian food, too.

This year, it's a 3rd culture dish: bison samosas. Bison from Oakridge Acres (Ayr), potatoes from my friend's farm (Plattsville), and pastry using Canadian wheat and sunflower oil
