A question for artists who sell their work online: How do you generate continuous sales?
I've tried selling prints at local festivals (twice), and lost money. I've sold a few prints via Etsy and my own website in the past. It never amounted to much.
It's possible my work isn't that good, so I don't want to delude myself. But is there a "trick" to selling art that doesn't involve laying on guilt about my dire circumstances?
