This is the most ‘street photography’ I can pull off without annoying everyone or getting arrested for espionage. Somehow, snapping shots with a phone seems simpler - less suspicious, I guess. A proper camera, on the other hand, appears to raise all kinds of red flags these days. Where does that come from? Maybe it’s all in my head. Most people are probably too busy to care, just catching a glimpse of that oddball taking pictures of the pavement.
