I don't understand why #PWA (progressive web apps) aren't more prevalent. But then I'm not a web dev.
Is it really that much more difficult to provide? Is it more work than developing a totally separate native app for Android and iOS in addition to your web site??
When I first came to #fediverse I found these were the best PWAs I'd seen. I still use the #mastodon PWA instead of any app. I feel like the other #fedi software has de-emphasized #PWAs. Having parity between web and PWA is great.
