Two photos of a Common Goldcrest (i. e. the Golden Winter Chicken in German, Wintergoldhähnchen) showing off its fantastic hair!

As far as I know, they are the smallest bird we have in Germany and they really are absolutely tiny! Not only that, they are seemingly unable to keep still, so taking photos of them can be difficult at times.
