Not an SO thing, and more minor, but at work, I was at one point tasked with making corrections to a series of prebaked email scripts, which were very much in need of that. And I like that. SPaGhetti is my garlic bread and butter. Two-spoon job, maybe three.
I was a touch forceful on some corrections. You know, like spelling the Company's name correctly, a bit important that.
Evidently I was too confrontational on my editorial selections. You know, capital 'FIX THIS TYPO' confrontational. And so, in one moment, there goes a dozen more spoons and any investment in completing the project, doubly so when I also know the person who has to make the changes probably won't get to it by 2024...
I was quite happy to fix something for a change. I love helping to fix things.
And now I'm crying again thinking about it.
Which is all to say, hoping you feel better soon... and that hopefully the SO'll understand what these sorts of things do to you.
