My dad was and still is a pothead and all around menace. He was low-key about while we were growing up but was a massive one when he was younger.
My cousins and I used to play in my grandparents' attic. They were using it for storage then, but it had been my dad and uncle's bedroom. One day, we found this pretty official looking framed certificate that said my dad was a licensed and certified marijuana farmer. It even had Spiro Agnew's signature on it. We showed my grandmother, and then she told us about the time my dad brought home this beautiful plant for her. It was on her sun porch for months before someone told her it was a pot plant.
