🇷🇺🇺🇦 To our detailed analysis of what is happening near Avdiivka , we can also add several points that we have repeatedly voiced earlier during the summer counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces:

▪️In conditions of a static and troop-saturated front line with fortified areas on both sides, it is difficult to wage a maneuverable war. Under these conditions, the offensive in any sector will actually be carried out “head-on”.

▪️The proliferation of FPV drones and other relatively inexpensive precision weapons has significantly increased the vulnerability of armored vehicles on the battlefield, making storming positions even more difficult.

▪️A similar problem with minefields: we repeat again that there is no effective mass means of overcoming them yet. In the best case, it is possible to make a narrow passage and send a column there, which immediately comes under attack: this was the case near Ugledar with the Russian Armed Forces, and this was the case with the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the south.

▪️Due to increased intelligence capabilities , it becomes more difficult to ensure secrecy . Limitations in means of destruction do not allow the complete destruction of the logistics infrastructure, so the enemy is able to quickly transfer forces to critical areas.

The consequence of all this is a “positional deadlock” in the modern version, when progress is slow with an assault on nameless heights and ruins. Moreover, they do not always give results: while during such heavy battles the Wagner PMC detachments were able to take Bakhmut, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were unable to take the village of Rabotino throughout the summer.

🔻 What to do in such a situation? Ensure the isolation of the combat area, when the enemy will be deprived of the opportunity to transfer reinforcements to the attack area and effectively fire at the attacking forces.

Success in current and future offensive operations will depend on how successful the RF Armed Forces are in carrying out this set of measures.
