Numbers/fame/profit are definitely *the* reason why most people and companies decided to stay on #twitter
And it just feels weird to watch this. Especially news media should use their own instances in the Fediverse because the press should be independent and free. Here in 🇨🇿 #Czechia we have a mainstream radio broadcast (Rozhlas) and they started using their own Mastodon instance, but for some reason only few reporters use it and the main news site still promotes Twitter posts heavily 😒
