I think you can support a politician/celebrity without worshipping them. I also think you can want a certain politician to win and also know that no matter who wins, they will do whatever is best for them. Historically, democrats are more anti-2A, so I trend towards republicans.
I know (or at least my opinion is) none of them like us. They use what they can to get what they want.
