Just had a memory from when I was maybe 10 or so. My dad came into my room when I was listening to the radio, and I was singing along. He asked me how I knew how to harmonise (when I got bored, I'd sing the harmony).
I answered that I didn't know, and we chatted and he left.
He was a musician of sorts, played the cornet and the double bass in a trad jazz band in his youth.
Why would that memory pop up now? 😂
