How to photograph an insect in six easy steps. 😄
I've learned that the most important part of photographing a mobile insect is to start taking photos straight away, before you lose it. Then, keep getting closer, and discard the first photos later.
This is what I did this morning with a pretty pompilid spider wasp that I saw on the road while biking into work this morning. I've shared the closest photo on #iNaturalistNZ
