He made it clear in the note that he'd been watching me. This was a man who while I had NO IDEA who he was, knew what vehicle I drove, and where I lived. I was honestly frightened. Posting the note felt like a good way to provide some vague semblance of protection or at least documentation, a clue, in case something happened to me.
