Also, IIRC that delay was put in place to prevent issues and leave the possibility of scratching the tag and redo it in case of mistakes... Which this instance proved it unuseful 😅
IMHO It's the same as "do not deploy on Friday" or "let's deploy less frequently": it seems the right way to go, but counterintuitively it's wrong, and it's just the simptom of a different problem..
