BUT it’s also nice to have this funding buffer because it allows for small experiments to not be that big of a deal. A while back I attempted to figure out K8S and host Mastodon on GCloud. Spent $12 and could just expense it (mostly I don’t lol). But it gives us the freedom to, if we want to, be able to host other infra, or sponsor other projects, or do other stuff. Like we have to figure out what to do with the money LMFAO
