I tried to articulate how the common ambition to monetize every development, like Nostr, by commodifying, if I understand the term correctly, all functions, turn them into products or services, you kill it.
As for peer to peer decentralized networks, I think at least the Nostr project description suggests that they inherently underperform. I have taken another look at Pear, mostly thanks to your post, the project, and its different parts, just continuous to strike me as unnecessarily opaque. I like the perceived approachability of Nostr.
