I never addressed that with any of my MCs but when I was in Argentina, waiting for my friends to pick me up for dinner, I wrote
lengthy banquet scenes for my 1171 historical romance. They were in the plot and I was famished; Argentina’s ‘early’ dinner hour was 10 PM. I did put my favorite Argentine dish on the menu of dishes served: chicken with rosemary-mustard sauce. All those ingredients were available in 1171!
