btw the reason why they use the word "tensor" a lot in machine learning research is because it's about graph theory and finding optimal distances
the stuff about locality hashing is based on tensor math, and it uses huge numbers, it is in the same category as cryptography, though i think you can do tensors with even bigger numbers it's not quite the same, cryptography partly exploits the loss of information caused by clockwork arithmetic on operations between very large numbers.
