i find that incredible. i was two finger typing that fast at age 14 before i learned to touch type and if i got really hyped i could do 45
i was getting around 50-60 on typical generic membrane keyboards and then i switched to dvorak and got to around 80 and with an ortho mechanical keyboard i can push maybe 90
i had a fight with utxo over his typing speed, he claimed 160, which is 960 keystrokes per minute or 16 taps per second
i don't believe it, but then i read, it happens, and i know for sure that i'm pushing about half of that, and i know that my speed is around average
my suggestion would be get a mechanical keyboard with lighter actuation pressure, and maybe the thinner, lighter laptop keyboards may also let you go a bit faster
how hard you have to press and how fast makes a big impact on the margins
switching to dvorak was essential for me because the qwerty layout is designed to maximize your effort to slow you down
