I've never met them, so I'm missing that context, but back around 2.5 to 4.0 it felt like this plucky indie thing that was tightly focused, holistically designed, and sold for one fair price. Now it feels relentlessly corporate, chaotically unfocused, user-hostile, and openly greedy. Maybe they were just really good at intentionally selling a manufactured image even right from the start? (Which is somehow even *more* disappointing, if that's the case.)",
