Your intermittent reminder that #ai products are a grift. It’s an answer in search of a problem being used to sell nebulous products.
LLM AIs are fairly good at text manipulation (eg summarising) but have a hard time writing new works without hallucinating nonsense. It’s just Grammerly with 1000x the carbon footprint.
It looks impressive, and tech companies think it should be exciting, but they have no solid uses cases demonstrating what it can do. It’s a grift to pay off their $$$ of R&D.
