Wait, how do you get Overleaf to give you info on mouseover?
I strongly prefer <authorname><year> because it's easier to type (without looking at the .bib first) and easier to read, but I'm perfectly willing to accept I may not be doing things in the most efficient manner. I started writing LaTeX with text editors so I am not 100% familiar with all Overleaf's quirks.
