Thanks to jack (npub1sg6…f63m) and jb55 (npub1xts…kk5s) (for some reason) and their generous zaps on a meme about me not getting zapped because I’m an idiot, I have already been able to orange pill 3 close friends today. Here’s how it went. Wouldn’t recommend this approach lol…
Step 1: Open up casual and natural conversation about Bitcoin and explain why bitcoin. Hear their apprehensions. Try to educate them.
Step 2: Get them to download WoS. Show them how easy it is to send and receive payments. Toss around like 100 sats.
Step 3: Figure out that their main apprehension now is because it’s “too expensive.”
Step 4: Send them each 500K and hope for the fucking best (I only did this bc I deeply care, trust, and love all of them).
Step 5: 3 hour conversation of them asking questions. Literally talked about UTXOs. You don’t talk about UTXOs on a cold first orange pill conversation much lol.
Thank you Jack and Will. I firmly believe that those 1.5m sats sent to my friends was v worth it after our conversation. Happy to share the love.
