This group used the clenched fist as their symbol on all insignia, and the gesture later became a worldwide symbol for anti-fascist pro-communist groups.
In Americs the Socialist Party of America made the raised fist symbol famous. This symbol became prominent during the labor and socialist movements in the early 20th century, representing solidarity and resistance
It's always has been THE symbol for communism.
