Trying to get BlueSky users to opt into the bridge has thus far been a nightmare, and BlueSky's privacy model is basically "there is no privacy, firehose everyone's posts at everything
" anyway.
I'm still not the biggest fan of the Fediverse side being opt-in either since mirroring your content to different servers is literally how ActivityPub works and federating with new servers has always been an opt-out affair, not an opt-in one, but whatever.
I've ranted about that enough.
