My dad subscribed to Road & Track and they wrote about how innovative the Pacer was going to be. I remember they kept pushing the "wide body" style. So, my dad and I rushed to the AMC dealer when the first models arrived. We took our first up close look and we both did a WTF is this!? He was so disappointed. The Pacer was a piece of crap ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
