Recent historical examples:

1. Venezuelan spending Bolivars and saving/holding US Dollars until the Bolivars are worthless, then spending US dollars. (in that order)

2. Salvadoran spending Salvadoran colones, and saving/holding the US dollars until the colones are worthless. Now spending the US Dollar and little by little few understand they should save/HODL Bitcoin before it's too late.
