Although, Linux Mint and Pop_OS are equally good and a little less Canonical.
I've migrated some frieds (total noobs) from Windows to Ubuntu and they run it for years without issues and their really old hardware.
Trying to convince a Windows user to use Arch wouldn't do them any good and probably just makes them go back to Windows.
