Having a sort of day off today.... it's what I call a "burnout day". Where the pressure of the continual 7 day working weeks comes to a head of a few too many beers, the escapism of trash TV ("See" on Apple in this instance) binging into the wee hours, then a day where I just do fuck all. It's a bit like compressing one month's worth of downtime into a single 36 hour block — I spend a day just daydreaming that I can quit all of the things.
As coping strategies go, yes, it's quite unhealthy.
