This is somewhat a misrepresentation.
To start with, nobody has been screaming "death to the French" for at least a few centuries. "Death to Jews" is practically the national anthem of Islam.
Second, they don't build a wall because they're a wacky coalition of bureaucratic morass. The EU's problems with secularized government are to fix it with more secularized government, and it shows.
Third, some of the member states of the EU *do* have an immigrant problem. With Arabs.
