There's $5b of ad revenue going into twitter. Attempting to divert a portion of that to your #nostr app will cost you next to nothing in relative terms.
Im not saying current #nostr apps should put ads in peoples feeds. Im just saying sooner or later someone will.
The fact that any app dev can get immediate access to the entire #nostr userbase is what makes nostr so full of potential, as building a working social media app is orders of magnitude cheaper and faster.
