Check my email and social media. A long-time colleague and mentor has died. A friend's wife has abandoned him under intolerable circumstances. Another friend is in the hospital. Another friend is facing a long rehabilitation after an accident.
I'd go back to bed, but last night I was having nightmares and don't want to revisit that.
