"content": "Having each distro try to build and ship a driver extension for each Runtime and Runtime versions is certainly not the way to go as well and it's much easier to go wrong as you saw and a lot harder to debug as now you have to debug each homegrown distro stack as well. Host managed extensions can work for specific usecases but I don't think it's better in this one and especially since mesa links against a bunch of other things.",
