Back when physical media was the standard, swapping stuff was all the rage. Most people didn't hold on to too many old games and people loaned friends their games like women loan out clothes.
A friend of mine bought me Clock Tower 1 + 2, gave me Silent Hill 1, while I sent him FF3(6) and Haunting Ground and Earthbound.
There wasn't even a deal, we just did that sort of thing on a few occasions. Its hilarious to see what that would cost now. Tell your war stories here boomers
