Something too rarely mentioned in articles bemoaning Mastodon is that my 500 followers on Mastodon give me many times more

than my 2500 on Twitter.
Thanks to no #Algoshit, people actually SEE your posts if they want to. It's actually a social network again instead of a rich-get-richer "hey did you see this 1 million retweets thing (which you probably did, because it got 1 million retweets, but here it is again)"
