Staying open minded enough to factor in new information feels natural, and I've adjusted my beliefs when I'm better informed. Deep trust is not particularly easy, but trusting a source of info is kind of key to this.
I've noticed that when my viewpoint evolves, making room for an acknowledgment of a gray area is sometimes involved; GMOs is one example.
My views on adoption are ever evolving. A lot of complications and gray areas there.
