Gut feeling to verify: the overall straight-forwardness of #FreeBSD with regards to the kernel (no initrd), drivers, device detach, OpenZFS, and more, could make it the least-stress GPU pass-through platform available. It’s not perfect, but reading about the acrobatics on other OSs leaves me shaking my head.
