I've been using #nostr exclusively on android apps since mid-November or so... Messing with relay settings in #amethyst has been the best way for me to learn what relays do what well (or don't) ... maybe it was a lack of relay diversity prior to switching off of web clients, mixed with my rudimentary understanding (which is very much still so😅) but I'm happy with the ability to control my experience & understand how the data moves around. I ran into relays that don't work on different connections, ones that don't share profile data very effectively. I figured out ones which I have on my list that contribute to the scary global stereotype & how to see 'most' notes from my follows that I was missing before. I just wanted to throw this out there, because I'm pretty 'normie' as far as tech goes, probably representing a good portion of the target market. The only thing I would change about it, is making the ui more approachable.
