Nostr is driving the adoption of Lightning, and as a result, Lightning wallet companies are innovating and developing tools to make Lightning more user-friendly and self-sovereign.

For example, ZEUS (npub1xnf…lpr5) is building a Lightning wallet that we have wanted since Zaps launched in February. This wallet will make it easy for anyone to deploy their own Lightning node *and* receive Zaps directly to it. This was not previously possible for the majority of users. Zeus Pay will be one of the most important features of a Lightning wallet that we've seen recently. Onboarding to Nostr and Lightning will become incredibly easy, hassle-free, and, most importantly, users can self custody their bitcoin.
