#WritingWonders What part of your world would you recommend to tourists?
The problem, of course, is that tourism of Civil Rights sites can too easily, for us White folks, become voyeurism. The point is not just to see but to be. To stand convicted by what has gone before me. To listen for how I can wrench that past into a better future. I recommend a visit, but not one lightly entered into.
