Some really cool (somewhat) #Delft history, shame most of you are asleep for this... you might be aware that English Settlers took the Mayflower and sailed from the UK to the US to start anew. A cute lil' side note is that some of these settlers were English dissidents from Leiden, a city in the Netherlands. They departed from Delfshaven which was a port made to connect Delft with the river Maas in Rotterdam.
