Pixelfed did ship a Live Streaming feature in 2021 btw, it wasn't advertised that much because of how clunky it was (30s+ delay, using legacy flash protocols, performance and storage issues)

Pixelfed Live was my first mobile app, and I've come a long way since then.

Loops Live will be much better, and will be available Q2 2025 ⚡️
