Evening Everyone. Please introduce yourself and your making.
A1: Hello, I am Alfred, maker, carer, caretaker, and miniaturist story teller.
My making has changed over the decades. From making bicycles to unusual road vehicles, designing and making furniture, designing and making museum and visitor centre installations, to making dolls house scale miniatures and writing a supporting back story.
I don’t make so much now, but do more repairs for Repair Cafe. Many repairs involve making replacement parts for furniture and ornaments, and the careful reassembly of broken and much loved items.
