Having a phone even in one's pocket at my job is a terminable offense. Imagine 12 hours with no human interaction, wrangling a failing band saw, inspection table, robot, pallet stacking and dispensing system, and conveyors, and all you can do is think.
No phone, no smartwatch, no GBA with an Everdrive, no eBook (because print books would be ruined in minutes thanks to all of the shit in the air), not even a goddamn $2 FM radio.
