considering going to RustConf this year since it's in my city but I really don't write any Rust these days
but also sometimes my favourite conferences are conferences about things I don't do much of, like I had an amazing time at Open Hardware Summit this year (https://2024.oshwa.org/) even though I don't do much electronics because I could learn from every single person I talked to
