So I bought myself a tube of $25 lip gloss. I know, it's really luxurious and I probably shouldn't have done it, but it's awesome lip gloss!!
So back it up. I bought my fancy Clinque Happy Heart perfume last year, and it came with a bunch of free samples of skin care and fragrance and makeup. Now most of the skin care and all of the makeup, except the lip gloss, went to the local women's shelter in Connecticut. I kept the lotion, I love it but won't spend $47 on it.
I kept the lip gloss, and it's been floating around in my office drawer for a while. I was using up the older lip gloss from Claire's which is $5 a tube. So I started using the Clinque lip gloss and OMG is it amazing! I don't have to put it on every 10 minutes. It's not sticky and not to shiny. It adds a bit of color.
So I put it on my Macy's wish list. A couple weeks ago, it went on sale for $16 so I bought a tube for work. Then I was work from home for a week and my lips wound up chapped from the Claire's lip gloss. So I just bought another tube of the Clinque lip gloss at the full price of $25.
